Purpose/Intent:

• Promote further understanding of weapon safety and common-sense gun legislation among the student body.
• Create a connection between both local and state governments, and the student body as an opportunity for students to be further involved in decision-making and providing input, when it comes to gun control legislation. 
• Provide an opportunity for students to attend events, such as city council meetings, Leon County Advocacy Day at the Capital, and school board meetings.
